Based out of the East Bay, Justin has been skiing since before he could walk. When not teaching, Justin spends his weeks at UC Berkeley, cramming for his next engineering exam so he can spend his weekends perfecting his goggle tan at any ski resort he can bum a ride to. Though he briefly flirted with the art of snowboarding during his rough middle school years, Justin has devoted himself to mastering the technique of elegant downhill skiing and would love to share his wisdom with you!

For children, consider different words to explain parallel, pivot etc. Otherwise, we were happy with the lesson for our nieces.

I had a great lesson with Justin last week. I'd never skied before in my life, but am pretty athletic (late 20s male). Justin started with the very very basics, but within a couple hours we'd moved well beyond the magic carpet and was able to make turns back & forth all the way down a long green run by the end of the day. Also the views at Homewood were terrific! Can't wait to come back later this winter.

Justin is patient and incredibly optimistic. After many many falls early on, Justin's positive attitude encouraged me to not give up and by the end of the lesson, I was able to safely turn back and forth and come to a stop without falling the whole way down.
