About Steven Taitel

I am originally from Parsippany NJ, where I started skiing when I was 3. Skiing has always been my favorite thing in the world to do! So much so I was a stow away in my fathers car when I was 5. This year starts my 51st year on skis! After 24 years of skiing on the East Coast I moved to Tahoe, where I Ski about 100 days a year, to push my limits to the extreme edge. With 13 years of racing, 5 professionally in an East Coast racing league in the 80’s, 4 in High school as league champion I had the skills to challenge every aspect of the big Mountain skiing that we have access to! In the last 27 years of skiing here in Tahoe my skill set became very well rounded and gives me the ability to take your skiing to its next level!

Steve is a fantastic instructor with a lot of ski experience. He is very patient and was able to get us skiing and wanting to go back for more. We all learned a great deal and the kids did great on their own the day after our lesson.

He was able to guide us within a short amount of time to a basic level of skiing such that we can enjoy the slopes. He was patient and had plenty of good tips and advice!

Steve was great with my son, who is a somewhat reluctant skier. They made a lot of progress together and my son really enjoyed himself. Working with Steve was much more effective than trying to teach him ourselves!
