Christain was an amazing instructor. He successfully helped my daughters finish their first run from the top of the blue slope at Granlibakken. He was super friendly, helped them with their techniques and was supportive the entire time. They are super excited to come back for more lessons.

Oh my goodness! We just had the best experience with Christian! I booked a lesson for my daughters and me with Christian because we were new to Granlibakken and this is our first time skiing this year. I have two daughters, 7 and almost 10, who have been skiing several times. My younger one was having a really tough time with the Granlibakken Lift because it is so different than anything she has done before. My older one wanted to try the bigger Lift. Christian did a great job switching back-and-forth between the girls, instilling confidence and creating thrilling opportunities for all! He was friendly and kind and low-key and laid-back. We had such a positive experience with him and cannot recommend Christian highly enough!

Christian was an excellent fit for our four year old! He kept our kiddo engaged the entire session. There was one moment after a tiny fall I thought our 4 year old was going to quit, but Christian got him back on his feet wanting to ski more! Would highly recommend!

I just wanted to take a moment to share how incredibly happy we were with our experience at Granlibakken - especially thanks to Christian! Our daughter just turned three a few weeks ago, and this was her very first time skiing. Christian was absolutely amazing - so energetic, enthusiastic, and patient. He made her feel comfortable and excited, and because of him, she had the best time ever. She’s still talking about him and her ski adventure, and we have the cutest pictures and videos to remember it by. This experience was so special for our family, and we are beyond grateful for Christian’s kindness and skill in working with little ones. We will 100% be coming back to Granlibakken and will absolutely seek him out for future lessons! Thank you again for such a fantastic experience - we truly, truly appreciate it!

Christian was an ideal instructor for our first-timers: super enthusiastic and encourage and FUN, and all while offering specific, substantive guidance. We’ll definitely choose him again. Our kids loved him, and they loved the whole day!

Christian was awesome with my two kids (3 and 5). This was their 2nd lesson and we requested having him again (1st was a month ago). He is fun, encouraging, technical and kindly reminds parents (me) that it’s important to ensure they are having fun so they get excited to do it again!

Christian has high energy in skiing and that motivated my 4yo son to keep going for the rope tow over the entire 2hr 45mins session. Not only Christian took care of my 4yo son, Christian also spent the time taking my daughter up at the steeper session of the hill and showed her the concept to take on the beginner runs. As a result, my daughter picked up the skills quickly and she is now comfortable riding the beginner run on her own. Thanks Christian!

My son had a private lesson with Christian and loved it! Christian taught my son how to enjoy skiing, which I think is important for a first-time skier at the age of 4.

Christian was very patient and made Vayu immediately comfortable. He even played snow ball fights when Vayu needed a break from skiing. Overall, he displayed remarkable empathy towards a 4yr old and made him like skiing.

Christian is attentive and gave us good practical advice and specific skills to practice, ranging from how to make big C turns to how to get on and off the ski tow :) Overall great attitude and energy and we'll request him again in the future!

Christian was full of energy and had a great attention to details. His tips were very practical. He brought so much joy to our son's lesson and he described him " a very cool instructor". He learnt a lot and improved a lot in only one hour lesson. He was also very motivated to practice on his own after the lesson.

Christian's energy and charisma was able to break the ice when meeting my 4 year old boy. He was positive and re-assuring the entire lesson and my son raved about the non-stop fist bumps. I think Christian made the lesson so fun that my son is really looking forward to coming back for more.

When Baya got her first lesson with Christian last year, she learned so much and became a better skier over night. She had 2 lessons last year in December then in February. This winter, she was asking again to have another opportunity to ski with him again and she did. This time she went higher in the mountain and learned new moves and more confidence. The next day after that session, Baya and I went to the top of the mountain and we went down safely and confidently. The Christian effect!
