About Henry Pehr

Hi everyone! This is my third season instructing and second year with Snow Schoolers. I have a background in teaching for students with cognitive and physical disabilities, and I love sharing my love of the outdoors with everyone. When I'm not instructing, you can find me crocheting, rock climbing, or sailing boats in the off-season. Let's go shred!

Henry was very enthusiastic, patient and kind in teaching. He really demonstrated the moves and techniques to the students. Gabby loved the ski lesson.

Henry provided the most positive experience I’ve witnessed on skis. After a few failed attempts at another “on mountain” ski school, Henry quickly gained the trust of our very young (3 y/o) skier in the making. He also allowed us to participate, which ensured that our son shed any anxiety that he had over his first lesson. Henry was positive, engaging, and knew exactly which way to shape the experience to keep the excitement going for the full hour. I will 10/10 be returning to him for our next lesson.

So happy we decided to take lessons at Frisco Adventure park. Henry was amazing he had my daughter skiing down the Bunny hill during her first time on skis! He was patient and personable. The next day we went to Breck and we were able to ski all the beginner slopes at peak 9. Book Henry and you’ll be ready to hit the slopes! Thank you again!

He was amazing!!! My kid won’t work with just anyone and he was great with him!!! Hi is in the spectrum and he was so patient and manage to teach him amazingly. He was the best!!! What wasn’t so good is that we left him a tip with one of the people in charge and appears to be that he didn’t get it cause we received an email asking for a tip. So thinking that he didn’t received it is disappointing. Hope it’s a mistake cause other than that was a good experience

Henry was amazing really kind and patient with us. He taught us some new skills and kept the pace good for everyone even though we had 5 people in the group he showed everyone personal attention and made the lesson fun.

My partner and I visited today for first time skiing lessons and had an amazing time! Our instructor Henry was so informative and knowledgeable. He was patient and supportive throughout our hour session. Will be returning in a few weeks for a longer lesson with him!

Henry was absolutely awesome with the kids! Our daughter was nervous to have a male instructor but ended up loving the lesson. He was so patient with our kids who were antsy from a long car ride and tired from the altitude. He was excellent at matching their energy and pivoting to teach additional skills that suited their interest. We were impressed at his EMT background and it showed in his patience and kindness with the kids. Him and another instructor had a mini snowball fight with them at the end of the lesson and that made their day!

Henry was so patient and playful with our 3 and 4 year old for their first times skiing. He made the lesson really fun for them, big smiles all around, and they talked about how much they wanted to come back to get taught by Henry again. Great job and thank you so much!

Henry was awesome, very patient with our questions, extremely helpful with my husband who has Parkinsons Disease and was a bit wobbly and fatigued quickly. Henry was very understanding and supportive.

He was very encouraging and celebrated the small wins which really helped Ev. My son was nervous for his first time but he came back super excited and ready for the next lesson, which is pretty impressive to get Everett excited about anything. Haha. We would recommend Henry 100%.
