We are a fan of the Snow Schoolers. This was our second time taking lessons. We really liked Jorge. His instructions were clear and simple. He explained the mechanics, which was really useful and eye opening! I requested him to tailor the lesson to focus more on my 5-year old son, which he appreciated and kindly agreed. A big thank you to Jorge and Snow Schoolers!

Jorge was wonderful. I was impressed by how quickly Ryan learned to ski based on Jorge's instruction. I especially appreciated that Ryan was actually skiing and using the drag lift within 15-20 minutes. Being able to actually ski gave Ryan so much confidence (in comparison to his snowboarding lesson in December where it felt like the instructor was lecturing the entire hour. Ryan left that lesson disappointed that he didn't get a chance to actually snowboard). He is so happy about his progress just off of one lesson that he wants to go back tomorrow and possibly the rest of this week while we are in Tahoe. I also appreciated the pace in which Jorge taught certain skills. The pacing did not feel rushed nor did it feel like the lesson was boring for Ryan. He also loved being able to go up the lift several times before the lesson was over. With his snowboard lesson, he wanted to leave as soon as the lesson was over but today, he stayed and went up the slope again and again :) Thank you, Jorge!

Jorge is very caring, knowledgeable and experienced when it comes to teaching skiing to kids. He calmly, gracefully and with confidence instructed Nicole, and she always listened to him. Nicole now feels proud that she can ski a little bit, and we would happily come back to Jorge for more lessons. Additionally, my wife, also a beginner skier, got into a tough situation at the top of the mountain, and Jorge volunteered his time to get her down. I’m grateful for Jorge’s selflessness and caring.

Jorge is our best coach ever! So patient and with each of us from the first min to the last! Really appreciated he gave us the very clear instruction, killed all the questions as a beginner. We will looking for Jorge next year and show our progress to our coach!

Jorge was great at explaining how to ski, and had a great energy that made learning to ski fun and enjoyable. He was also very flexible around students in the private lesson having a greater difference in levels than initially expected

It was a great experience working with Jorge to learn Skiing as first timers. He was able to adapt to both kids and adults alike and was a super friendly instructor to learn from. Even while waiting in the queue for the bunny lift, he was constantly able to provide suggestions for skill development and kept us motivated throughout. Looking forward to coming back to Granlibakken and practicing more. Our 4 yr old is waiting to continue his ski education with the snow schoolers

Jorge is an excellent instructor. He has the perfect balance of being very courteous, friendly, helpful, and encouraging to his students. Jorge was my son's ski instructor last year and we had no qualms about asking for him again this year.

A big thank you to Jorge. My kids gave him an A+ and said he was a fabulous instructor! To my amazement, after just an hour lesson they were skiing with me on the bunny hil for another 3 hours! Thank you Jorge! I’m beyond thrilled they loved it and that I know have new ski partners.

He saw that Faith was slow to warm up to him since he was a stranger and accommodated her comfort level and reassured her. He was kind, patient, and moved at her pace, while also encouraging her. We were surprised to see her going up and down the bunny hill independently so quickly, but it was a pleasant surprise! She immediately said, "I want to do it again" after the completing the lesson, so it was a really positive and fun experience for her. I asked her if she'd like Jorge to teach her again and she immediately said, "Yes." :) We'll be back next weekend. Thank you!

Jorge was warm, patient, and incredibly kind to our 3-year-old son - who was skiing for the first time - and to his over-enthusiastic parents ;) Finn was really nervous and can take a minute to warm up to new people, and Jorge put zero pressure on him and was very patient. Finn was ready to call it quits after 2 runs and Jorge quietly asked Finn a few questions that got him back on the slopes and through a full-hour lesson with a big smile on his face. Finn was excited by "jumps" and "backflips" and Jorge leaned into it and would help Finn "do jumps" while they were coming down the mountain together. It was amazing.

Jorge arrived on time and as soon as our gear was ready he did not delay. Jorge was the instructor for my 2 teens. They quickly ran through basics and as soon as he assessed their level and broke down the skills into bite-sized, achievable steps, he realized that they were ready to go. He did not delay and took them out to test their skills and get the most out of his instruction time as possible. He did it all with positive reinforcement and laughs. He had them tackling tougher runs with confidence. By the end, their confidence had soared, and they were carving down steeper slopes with smiles ear to ear. Jorge was great! I would highly recommend him.

Jorge is exceptional. He's taught my son (autistic), twice now. Both times he went above and beyond. He was very patient and connected with my son. He tailored the lesson to suit and the pace was perfect. My son skis now - and very well too. It just blows my mind. I highly recommend Jorge. Thank You Jorge!!
