My names is Sam I grew up skiing on the east coast but moved to California 9 years ago and have been teaching at Granlibakken and for Snowschoolers all of that time.

Sam was a wonderful ski instructor! He made all of us feel comfortable & safe. We were a group of 4, ranging in ages from 8 to 53! Not only was he knowledgeable and encouraging, but he was able to navigate my extremely anxious daughter and encourage her to keep trying after she fell. At the same time, he was sharing his world with us, telling us stories of how he became an instructor and his love of the outdoors. Would love to have Sam be our instructor at future lessons. Thanks Sam :)
