About Holly Domingo

I have been Alpine skiing for 16 years/Nordic skiing for 25 years, working in the ski industry for the greater part of 10 years, and am a level 1 PSIA certified ski instructor. I love the sense of freedom from physical constraints that skiing allows and want to share that with other people.

Holly was absolutely great with our five year old - first time ever on skis for him! Our son is quite hesitant and conservative with gross motor skills, but Holly patiently worked with him and got him comfortable with getting on skis and moving on the snow. He came away with a positive experience, and he loved her as a teacher. He was excited to try skiing again the day after, but he pointed out I was 'no way as good as Holly' in working with him. All around success I'd say!

Holly was very encouraging and motivated Hutch to continued to improve. I was also very impressed with her commitment for him to succeed by accompanying Hutch while skiing backwards!

Holly is patient and gave really good instructions to our kids. They were ready to ‘fly’ after their first ski lesson. Kind and gentle especially with our 6 year old. She says Holly is the best instructor ever!

Holly did a really great job getting us comfortable on our skis. We had never skied before, and I wasn’t sure we’d be able to learn very much in a half day. She was able to tailor the lesson well to our group of 2 with different levels of confidence. She kept a reasonable pace, but also pushed us at the right times. Would definitely recommend!

Holly is so genuinely a kindhearted person. I believe little kids pick up on that quickly. Within knowing her five minutes my 3-year-old told her he loves her. He would follow her anywhere and try anything she said - also she greatly improved his skiing in half a day. Holly is amazing!

She was awesome in her customer service, thorough with her communication and quick response time. She also gave good lesson/instruction and kept the lesson interesting for 3 hours.. she was awesome for our son and cannot wait for another lesson with her for our son. For younger kids, she may try to incorporate some fun games so that the kids learn without knowing that they are learning!:)

Holly was kind, knowledgeable and supportive. We all really liked her. My rating of not likely to recommend snow schoolers was not based on Holly at all, but the administrative side of things.

Holly was amazing with my child. She took the time to see what my daughter was already comfortable with and then expanded on her ability from there. When asked, my daughter said "You can tell she likes kids and skiing. She knows what she is doing and makes it fun." By the end of the day, my daughter was very comfortable on skis and was doing a basic obstacle course Holly had set up for her. We 100% recommend Holly to anyone wanting to learn how to ski.

Holly is very patient with my kid and gave a very positive experience for Emma. It was very exciting to see her want to try ski again and feel excited about trying ski off the hill by herself. Will come back for Holly's classes again.
